Privacy statement
Last updated 31 October 2026
This statement covers the website www.loudot.cloud and a trial of next: what we collect about you, why, how long we keep it and what you can ask of us. It does not cover the calls your customers make to a contact center on next; see the last section.
Who we are
lou.cloud (KvK [KvK number], [registered address]) makes lou.cloud next and is responsible for the personal data in this statement. Questions about it, and every request below, go to hello@loudot.cloud.
Visiting the website
The website sets no cookies, has no analytics or tracking and loads nothing from other companies: its fonts and images come from our own server.
Like every web server, ours sees your IP address with each request. Our hosting provider, Google Cloud, keeps technical request logs with the IP address for at most 30 days, to keep the service running and secure.
Asking for a trial
When you ask for a trial we keep what you fill in: your name, work email address, company, country and language. We use it to confirm your address, to check the request by hand and to set up your trial.
To stop automated and repeated requests we also keep a keyed hash of your IP address, never the address itself, and we count requests per address, per email domain and in total.
We delete a request you did not confirm after 7 days. Of a request we turned down, after 90 days only the email domain, the outcome and the dates remain. A request we approved stays with your trial, and goes a year after the approval once the trial is deleted.
We do this to take the steps you ask for before an agreement (GDPR article 6(1)(b)) and, for the abuse checks, in our legitimate interest in a service free of spam (article 6(1)(f)).
Your trial
Your trial account holds your name, email address and role, and the people you invite. To sign in you use Google, or a 6-digit code we send by email: it works for 10 minutes and once, and we store only a keyed hash of it.
We send you mails about your trial: the confirmation, sign-in codes and when your trial is about to end or has ended. We keep a record of each mail sent; the email address is removed from that record 30 days after the mail.
A trial ends after 14 days. If you don't continue with a subscription, we delete the trial and everything in it, the users included, 30 days after it ended, or earlier when you ask.
Who else processes it
We share your data only with the companies that run part of the service for us, under a processing agreement:
- Google Cloud: hosting and storage, in the Netherlands (region europe-west4).
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France): sending our emails.
- Google: signing in, only when you choose to sign in with Google.
- Twilio (United States): phone numbers and calls, only once you make or take calls in your trial. Twilio transfers data under the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We never sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use, to object to it or to receive it in a common format. Write to hello@loudot.cloud; we answer within a month.
If you think we handle your data wrongly, you may complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Calls to a contact center on next
A company that uses next decides what happens to the calls, recordings, transcripts and contacts of its customers; we process them on its behalf, under a processing agreement with that company. If you called such a company, ask it about your data.
Changes
When we change this statement we update the date above. A change that matters to you we tell you by email first.
